Applied Science welcomes a large number of students from other colleges every year. Students transfering from major universities find a closeness with their faculty that is enhanced through labs instructed by their professors while students from small private colleges experience class sizes and friendliness similar to their previous school.

Facilities at the college are first-rate and maintained at a high level of technical proficiency. In addition to state-of-the-art computer facilities, laboratories equipped with leading edge technologies, and a library on campus with a large collection of its own plus direct access to the UC library system and its ties to statewide and national resources, the campus offers a number of work-relaxation areas for students between classes. Applied Science has established a number of Articulation Agreements with colleges across the Tri-State to facilitate students entry into Applied Science. These agreements specify courses from both institutions and those that have direct Applied Science acceptance. A listing of some of the available agreements follows.
