Writing Center

    Omar Gray is a native of Covington, Kentucky.  He earned a Bachelor of Arts in English (with a creative writing concentration) at Kentucky State University in May 2003.  He went on to graduate from Murray State University with a Master of Arts in English/Creative Writing in August 2005.  As a graduate assistant at Murray State, Omar taught Basic Writing, proctored English labs, tutored students on writing/grammar, and conducted several writing workshops on various topics. He joined the CAT Writing Center in September of 2005.  An aspiring poet, Omar's poems have appeared in Kentucky State's The Kentucky River and Murray State's Notations.
