Mission Statement:
The Writing Center goal is to work in partnership with
students so they can develop skills to write academically sound papers
at a college level with little to no assistance. Tutors coach
students through their writing processes to help them grow as writers.
Not only do our tutors tutor in the Writing Center, they also tutor in
English- 095, 097, and 101B classrooms for two hours a week facilitating
the learning environment for the students and supporting them in their
efforts to develop their writing, reading, and critical thinking skills.
