GO GREEN! Green-Up Day 2008 will be Saturday, May 3
9:00am - 1:00pm, Burnet Woods (meet at the Trailside Nature Center)
Burnet Woods is located right across the street from the University of Cincinnati, accessible from Martin Luther King Drive, Clifton Avenue, and Ludlow/ Jefferson Avenue. Meet at the Trailside Nature Center at 9am. [map]
Please bring a pair of work gloves and a bottle of water with you to the event. All other tools will be provided. Wear clothes that can get dirty and shoes appropriate for working in brush and mud.
When the work is done, pizza and drinks will be provided for lunch. All participants will also receive a t-shirt and the sincere thanks of the Cincinnati Parks department and your community! |

We need 100-150 volunteers for this exciting one-day event, so spread the word and invite your friends! This is a great opportunity to get some service hours while enjoying the outdoors and doing your part for the environment-- and having fun with fellow students.
