Civic Garden Center Field Trip Facilitator

Mission Statement: The Green Learning Station at the Civic Garden Center is in search of facilitators for field trips for middle and high school science students. Field trips are 3.5 hour sessions in which a class of students breaks into small groups to solve problems and conduct experiments dealing with stormwater, composting and growing food. Ideal candidates would meet the following criteria.

One Way Farm was founded in 1976 by Barbara Condo as a non-profit organization committed to caring for abused, abandoned and neglected children ages 6-18. Our goal is to break the cycle of abuse, and to help each child develop a normal and productive life. We assist children who need a shoulder to lean on, warm shelter, and insight into their problems through comprehensive services.
