Training for New Tutors.

Training will be offered in two sessions:

  • January 9, TUC 417
    • General - 3:30p
    • Curriculum - 4:00p
    • Break-Out - 5:00p
  • January 10, TUC 417
    • General - 3:30p
    • Curriculum - 4:00p
    • Break-Out - 5:00p

Check your email for your training assignments. Most tutors are required to attend at least some portion of the training. Conact bearcatbuddies@gmail.com with questions.

The projected 2013 Spring Semester tutoring schedule is an Excel workbook which includes a weekly view of all overlapping tutoring sessions on one sheet, and a list of all tutoring sessions on another. You can download the projected 2013 Spring Semester tutoring schedule here:

Instructions on how to register on UC.UGIVE.ORG for Fall Semester weekly tutoring sessions 

Instructions on how to register on UC.UGIVE.ORG for Fall Semester weekly tutoring sessions.
  1. Join the Bearcat Buddies group on UC.UGIVE.ORG.
  2. Once approved as a member of the Bearcat Buddies group, find your day and time below, and register for your specific tutoring opportunity.

How to join the Bearcat Buddies group on UC.UGIVE.ORG:

  • Log in to UC.UGIVE.ORG (use your 6 + 2 and password)
  • The first time you log in, you will select your college.
  • Click the drop down menu in the upper right hand corner, next to your college.
  • At the bottom of that drop down menu, click "Join a Group."
  • Join the Bearcat Buddies group. You will need to be approved as a group member before you can register for your project (takes less than 12 hours).
  • Once you are an approved group member, you can register for your assigned tutoring session.

Note: If you are a Cincinnatus or Global Scholar, join the Cincinnatus Scholars or Global Scholars group on UC.UGIVE.ORG so your service hours are submitted to Financial Aid.
