Alternative Breaks 

An alternative break is a trip where a group of students engage in volunteer service, typically for a week. Alternative breaks may occur during students’ fall, winter, weekend, or summer school breaks.


Bearcat Buddies

Bearcat Buddies is a volunteer tutoring program that helps Cincinnati Public Schools' students achieve academic success.


Green Up Day

Center for Community Engagement partners with Cincinnati Parks to beatify Burnet Woods is located right across the street from the University of Cincinnati.


Into the Streets

Into the Streets is an annual event during which UC students, faculty, and staff volunteer their time and effort to a range of service organizations across the region for a full day of service.


Over the Rhine Community Housing

Over-the-Rhine Community Housing is a non-profit organization that works to build and sustain a diverse neighborhood that values and benefits low-income residents.


Spring Neighborhood Enhancement Program
