Funding Sources

Our Mission

Since formation, the CCJR has received 290 grants and contracts that total over $9.6 million dollars. Of these, 163 have been focused on corrections and 27 on policing and crime prevention. All projects administered by CCJR are fully funded by federal, state, local and private agencies, as well as the National Institute of Justice and National Institute of Corrections.

To improve the quality and delivery of criminal justice services, to advance knowledge on the administration of justice and on the nature of criminal behavior, and to advance research capabilities and educational mission of the Division of Criminal Justice.
