Assistant Stage Management
3 ug.cr. One quarter introductory course in stage management for drama,
opera, and musical theater. Emphasis on basic stage management skills,
including the assembling of a working prompt script, taking blocking notation,
prompting, and calling the show. Assignment as an assistant stage manager
to one of the departmental productions that quarter. Course may be repeated

a workshop production. Responsibility for organizing and running

book after the fact.
