The Community Design Center, as a co-principal investigator with Professor Brenda Scheer, conducted a study to examine current patterns of zoning and historic zoning changes that have impacted the housing patterns of the Avondale and Corryville neighborhood.

Habitat for Humanity (1997)
The Community Design Center provided architectural design and specifications for a single family house in Westchester, Ohio. This design work was provided for the Westchester Chapter of Habitat for Humanity and will be constructed through volunteer labor for a pre-selected low income family.
Findlay Market Housing (1997)
As a part of the market revitalization plan, buildings around the Findlay Market square are proposed to be redeveloped into viable mixed income housing above market related commercial storefronts. CDC conducted a survey of more than twenty buildings around the market square and will provide optimal floorplan proposals for restoring these upper floors to functional residential use.
