Resources Map (2002)
The Community Design Center provided technical
assistance to the Health Foundation of Greater Cincinnati and the
College of Medicine at the University of Cincinnati by mapping resources
available to homeless persons in downtown Cincinnati and Clifton neighborhoods.

FEMA Windstorm Mitigation
Research and Design (2001)
Following the 2000 tornado disaster in Xenia
Ohio, the Community Design Center was requested by FEMA to assist
in illustrating windstorm damage mitigation techniques for the construction
of wood frame houses.

Cincinnati Health Department
Window Guard Prototype (2001)
The Community Design Center provided industrial
design services to the City of Cincinnati Health Department to research
and design a prototype window guard to protect children from accidental
falls. The Health Department statistics on child facilities indicate
the need to provide safety measures to reduce accidental falls.
