| FEMA Windstorm Mitigation
Research and Design Following the 2000 tornado disaster in Xenia Ohio, the Community Design Center was requested by FEMA to assist in illustrating windstorm damage mitigation techniques for the construction of wood frame houses. The Community Design Center architecture students built a detailed model and designed illustrative architectural details in a package that could be distributed to homeowners in tornado prone areas throughout the midwest. |
