CECS researcher Rhonda Barnes-Kloth, has joined the Greater Cincinnati Environmental Educators (GCEE), an organization of teachers and non-formal educators who believe in the importance of bringing environmental principles into Cincinnati-area schools and classrooms. On June 17, 1999, Ms. Barnes-Kloth, who represents the Environmental Resource Center, will assist with the GCEE-sponsored symposium “Modeling Environmental Education in the Classroom.” The purpose of the symposium is to provide K-12 teachers with hands-on educational tools that will assist them with teaching about environmental issues.
