The 3T: Teaching, Techniques, & Technology Conference offers educators the opportunity to share a broad range of innovative teaching practices and practical applications of technology in the classroom.

Call for proposals:

We are especially interested in multidisciplinary topics related to the scholarship of teaching and learning, innovative teaching techniques and classroom activities, as well as the application of technology in both face-to-face and online instruction.

The proposal submission deadline is January 31, 2013 at 5 p.m. Please see the Call for Proposals webpage for detailed submission requirements.

Keynote Speakers:

Mikhail Gershovich is the Director of the Bernard L. Schwartz Communication Institute and the Writing Across the Curriculum Program at Baruch College, CUNY where he explores and experiments with integrating emerging technologies into communication-intensive curricula and faculty development initiatives.

Keynote

Martha Burtis is Special Projects Coordinator in the Division of Teaching and Learning Technologies at the University of Mary Washington. In this role, she helps administer various faculty and student development projects, including the Online Learning Initiative, Faculty Academy, and Domain of One’s Own. For the last two years, she has also taught classes in the departments of Computer Science and the American Studies program on digital storytelling and digital identity. She has worked in higher educational technology for over a decade, previously serving as her division’s director and as director of Web development at the University of Montana. She holds a masters degree in instructional technology and media from Teachers College, Columbia University.

A limited number of rooms are reserved at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites Cincinnati--Eastgate. The rooms reserved are king bed guest rooms (one king sized bed) at the conference rate of $110 per night. Other rooms are available at the normal hotel rate per night. The faculty offers free internet service and a full service dining room on the property, however breakfast is not included in the room rate. Please reference the 3T: Teaching, Techniques & Technology Conference at UC Clermont College at registration to get the conference room rate.
