We invite proposals to participate in:

3T: Teaching, Techniques & Technology Conference

The 3Ts: Teaching, Techniques & Technology Conference offers educators the opportunity to share a broad range of innovative teaching practices and practical applications of technology in the classroom with colleagues.

The proposal submission deadline is January 31, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.

Proposals should be for standard, 45-minute presentations during concurrent sessions at the 3T: Teaching, Techniques & Technology Conference.

We are especially interested in multidisciplinary topics related to the scholarship of teaching and learning, innovative teaching techniques and classroom activities, as well as the application of technology in both face-to-face and online instruction.

Proposals can be made for a group (up to three co-presenters) or for individual presentations. Proposals should be submitted no later than January 31, 2013 at 5:00 p.m.

If your proposal is accepted, you will be notified by February 1, 2013. Conference outlines and schedules will be distributed by February 19, 2012.

The conference committee will work with the presenters to facilitate their presentation; however, some requests may be subject to availability at the conference facility.

Submission Requirements and Deadline

Requirements:

All presenters are required to register for the conference upon acceptance of their proposal.

Proposals must include the following:

1.)   Primary Presenter’s Contact Information--including name, title, college/company affiliation, mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address.

2.)   Bio--a 50-100 word bio for up to three co-presenters as they should appear in the conference program.

3.)   Proposal Title and Abstract--the exact title of the proposed topic and abstract (maximum of 150 words) of the presentation as it should appear in the conference program.

4.)   Proposal--250-500 word proposal for the presentation.

5.)   Presentation Outcomes--(e.g. "At the completion of this session, participants will be able to . . ."

6.)   Equipment needs--list of necessary equipment for the presentation (e.g., overhead projector, computer, internet access, etc.).
