What is on the agenda?
- An overview of where we are with Semester Conversion to date: what we’ve done so far, what the resources look like, what the forms look like, what the next steps are in the process, what we’ve learned generally
- Open questions & discussion, to identify key issues & concerns, and create an agenda of concerns based on what the people in the room have brought to the meeting
- More focused discussion based on thematic areas of concern; e.g., SLO’s; Gen Ed and BoK issues; strategies for program redesign, etc.
Who is the intended audience?
Anyone interested in getting an update on any aspect of the semester-conversion process or in raising questions about that process. In addition to UC faculty, UC staff (academic advisers, for instance) are encouraged to attend.
Following this meeting, we will compile notes on the main problems, possible solutions, and strategies people are employing, and will highlight existing materials and resources and/or create new ones to be shared electronically or in person at follow-up meetings.
Coffee & pastries will be available for participants, so registration is requested. Please click here to register.
