UC CONCEPT-MAPPING SERVER

Working within the UC network, and for access to UC's own Cmap server (within the ucfilespace system), first launch the CmapTools program, then click on "shared cmaps in places," and find the link for "add place." Check the box for "add a place that is not on the list." For the internet host, add cmap.ucfilespace.uc.edu. The port number remains "4447," but the web server port number should be "8085." Once you've submitted this data, you should find "University of Cincinnati (USA)" listed in your "My Places" group. You can now create your own folder on the UC Cmap server and save your concept maps to that space. (These guidelines are also available at http://ucfilespace.uc.edu/node/57).
