Blackboard was chosen by a faculty committee to be the course management software for the University of Cincinnati community. Since it was introduced as a pilot program in Fall Quarter 2000, Blackboard has quickly become the University's academic portal with over 80% of UC students having had at least one course on Blackboard in Fall Quarter 2004.
