Contact Sheet: Image Rotator

Introduction:

Much like creating Announcements on a page, the UC Image Rotator requires a Contact Sheet to be created first; the component itself is simply a lens that references this. In the CQ GUI, create a page in your site with the "Contact Sheet: Image Rotator" template. Be sure to hide this page from navigation.

Getting Started:

When building a contact sheet for UC Image Rotator, there are several required fields. Click and drag the UC Image Rotator Item component from the sidekick, then click "Edit."

Image Alternate Text: Used for when an image fails to load and for accessability.
Title: Displays at the top of the caption.
Caption: Photo description. Appears in a gray box that slides over the bottom portion of the photo.
Thumbnail Image Size: The thumbnails work best with a very small height. 25 pixels is used in this example.
Link: Each image needs to link to a page, either in CQ or external.

Once this page has been created, you'll need to go back into the site you'd like the rotator on and configure the Lens. Adding the UC Image Rotator Lens
