UC YouTube Player

One of the simplest ways to share video content online is through a YouTube channel. With the UC YouTube Player component, you can quickly and easily embed a YouTube video onto your page, so that users do not need to navigate away from your page to view it.

Getting Started:

Open the Multimedia section of components in the sidekick, and click & drag the UC YouTube Player onto the page.

The component will load with a default video, but once you click the "Edit" button, you'll be required to enter the Video ID of your YouTube clip. This is also where you'll set the formatting parameters.

Edit Dialog:

  • Video ID: The ID YouTube uses to recognize a video. In the following URL, the Video ID is in bold:
  • Player Size: Resize the video player to fit the intended area on the page. Use this in the same manner as resizing an image.
  • Show Related Videos: Choose whether or not Related Videos appear when the video ends.

If you've entered everything correctly, you should be able to preview the video in Author or Preview mode.
