Responsive Overview

Responsive web design (RWD) is an approach to developing a web site in a manner in which the site's content is optimized for viewing across a variety of platforms, including desktops, laptops, tablets and smart phones.

This is achieved by the rearranging and/or resizing of content (photos, icons, text, etc.) on a page based on the size of the screen.
