Assemble for Graduation Ceremonies
- All doctoral candidates will be sent specific instructions on where you need to assemble with your adviser in advance of the Doctoral Hooding and Master's Recognition Ceremony on Friday, June 13th. All doctoral students should enter the Richard E. Lindner Center, 4th floor (Varsity Village). If you have specific questions, contact the Graduate School Office at 513-556-4335.
- All masters candidates participating in the Doctoral Hooding and Master's Recognition Ceremony on Friday, June 13th should assemble on the gymnasium floor of the Campus Recreation Center (enter the Recreation Center Main Entrance).
- All masters candidates participating in the Doctoral Hooding and Master's Recognition Ceremony on Friday, June 13th should arrive NO LATER than 12:30 PM. Check-in will close at 1 PM.
- All baccalaureate and associate candidates participating in Undergraduate Commencement on Saturday, June 14th should assemble on the gymnasium floor of the Campus Recreation Center (enter the Recreation Center Main Entrance).
- For the AM Ceremony, Saturday, candidates should arrive NO LATER than 8:30 AM. Check-in will close at 9:00 AM.
- For the PM Ceremony, Saturday, candidates should arrive NO LATER than 12:30 PM. Check-in will close at 1 PM.
Important Reminders:
-All graduates should wear comfortable shoes with a low heel. You will be marching up stairs to the Fifth Third Arena.
-If you have a physical disability that limits your mobility, you should proceed directly to the Fifth Third Arena using the northeast corner entrance to the arena which is across from Dabney Hall. Check in with a Commencement Committee volunteer in order to fill out your reader card. You will wait in this area so you can join your college when they march in.
-All bags will be checked before proceeding to the gym floor. Do NOT bring personal belongings with you to the staging area. You will not return to the Rec Center after the Commencement ceremony.
