Cryptosporidiosis is a frequent infection in immune-competent and immune-compromised persons. In AIDS patients it is usually associated with chronic and life-threatening diarrhea illness. PUBLICATIONS

The Proceedings of the IWOP presentations will be published in American Society for Microbiology's journal Eukaryotic Cell.  Abstracts and presentations will be reviewed by the IWOP-10 organizers and placed into topics for articles; some presenters will be invited to be co-authors.  The manuscripts will be reviewed by all IWOP-10 organizers and some invited IWOP reviewers for comments, clarity and improvements.  Following the internal reviews the manuscripts will be submitted to Eukaryotic Cell for review by the Editors and Reviewers of that journal who will make the final decision on acceptance or rejection.

The Toxoplasma Symposium will be published in the International Society of Protistologists' publication the Journal of Eukaryotic Microbiology.

ORGANISM-BASED DINNERS

Organism-based dinners have been popular at IWOP meetings.  Since we need to make restaurant reservations ahead of time we need to get an idea of the numbers of participants and accompanying persons might want to attend a dinner with participants working on a specific organism or group of organisms.  There are two possible evenings in which these events might be scheduled - you can attend any group dinner.  When registering for the conference, please choose the dinners you are interested in attending, and indicate the number of people to include for reservations.

STUDENT CERTIFICATION - Please see below for the certification form

All students registering under the student discount must submit the certification of Student Status form with their registration. This form can be scanned and emailed to univconf@uc.edu or faxed to +1-513-558-0385.
