SIGNATURE AUTHORITY LIMITS AS DELEGATED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES

The following signature authority limits apply to contracts, purchase orders, and modifications thereof which require the expenditure of funds by the University. For further information regarding these limits and their application, call the office referenced.

$1.815 Million or over                         Board of Trustees

$1.21 Million to $1.815 Million            President with consent from the  Chairperson 
                                                              of the Board Finance Committee

$0 to $1.21 Million                               Office of the President*

 *The President or his designee shall have authority to approve and execute grants, sponsored contracts, and other contracts which do not require the expenditure of funds by the University (other than as an incident of performance of the contract), and modifications thereof, in any amount.        

   Presidential designees:                - Contracting Officer who has delegated authority to:
                                                            - Vice Contracting Officers in Office of General Counsel
                                                            - Director of Purchasing for Purchase or Change Orders
                                                            - Patent Officer for Patent-Related Confidentiality Agreements
