Co-op in China?!?! Enough Said!!!

I decided I was going to find my own co-op job and I wanted to go abroad. It was difficult to get any company to look beyond the fact that I hadn't graduated yet. But finally, I found one who did! Shercon Rubber based out of Los Angeles, CA offered me a position I could not turn down. I was given two options: 1) Help outsource labor to China from the LA facility, or 2) Help integrate outsourced labor into a brand new ERP System in Hangzhou, China. Both options included a fully furnished high-rise apartment, round-trip airfare, a growth opportunity with the company, and a completely amazing experience. I chose China and I am thankful I did! Deemed "The most beautiful city in China," Hangzhou lives up to its' name. I completely immersed myself in the culture, caught onto the language very quickly, taught an English class twice a week, and traveled through the country seizing amazing opportunities I may never have again! Oh yeah, the 1:8 USD:CNY exchange rate was nice too! Most importantly, I gained a wealth of knowledge about doing business in China, Economics in China, and Operations Management in a Manufacturing environment. Simply put: this was the best experience I've ever had in my life!
