Making that Multimillionaire Happy

You know that fading in and out humming you might hear on a typical flight, or that blasting AC that seems to overload every bit of hearing you may have. Well down in Savannah, working for Gulfstream, that is not a problem. If you manage to get to ride in a G450, you will notice the difference. In the acoustics and vibrations division, I worked on imbalanced Tay 611 engines that pushed out over 10000 lbs of thrust a piece. I helped make that highly sophisticated piece of modern aeronautics spin like a top, with none of that noise or vibration making it into the uber-luxurious cabin. By adjusting all of the little things, we were able to bring the sound levels in the airplane down to just 45 dB, or about the sound you would hear in the typical office. My division has shaped one of the most smooth sailing and quiet havens ever to touch the sky. And if you ever strike it big one day, you might get to experience that pinnacle of luxury yourself.
