During this summer, I had the oppurtunity to travel to Europe for 10 days for my co-op @ P&G in Pharmaceuticals. They flew me business class (very comfortable), I stayed in the mariott and hilton. The trip was all expenses paid. Upon arrival, I went with my co-workers to a German football game (American-type football), and found out that Germans really do love to party. Later during the week, I traveled to Switzerland with one of our plant engineers and got to drive on the autobahn at over 140mph. I stayed in Switzerland for two days by myself evaluating suppliers and deciding whether to buy hundreds of thousands of dollars of equipment from them. A few weeks after this, I traveled to New York City for another week on business. I have been able to see many new places becuase of my co-op job and simultaneously grow my multi-cultural awareness.
