Around the world (with pay)

Everyone has this idea in their head of what the perfect co-op would consist of. If this includes traveling around the world first class for a little less than $50 a trip then you’ll probably agree that working for Delta Airlines is the coolest co-op.First off I get to live in Atlanta (if that isn’t already enough to win you over). From Monday-Friday I spend my day trying to perfect systems for collecting and analyzing data. I’m given enough freedom to suggest changes and then implement them with little more than a small presentation. In fact upon arriving I redesigned and implemented a flight attendant training database that’s directly to the FAA for review.I’ve officially been on co-op assignment for 2.5 months and have already flown to Dublin, Munich, San Francisco, Tampa (saw UC upset USF), Orlando, Detroit, Washington DC, Denver and Milan. While most people end up going to a local bar/party to relax for the weekend I’ve ended up flying somewhere new. The first time I had a Guinness was atop their main factory in Dublin, Ireland and my first experience with Oktoberfest was at the “real” one in Munich, Germany. It’s been a ridiculous amount of fun traveling so far and I’m looking forwards to the next 9.5 months of trips ahead of me.
