Test This!

During my 3rd co-op with Honda R&D Americas, I was once again a part of the vehicle chassis reliability group. A few of the many projects I was a part of included evaluating the integrity of the vehicle after being subjected to certain, mild off-road conditions. I personally setup, conducted, and recorded tests pertaining to the protection of the fuel assembly attached to the under-body of the now released Acura MDX. I also was an integral part of tests simulating common road conditions including severe water shock and curb impact. All durability tests conducted at Honda are to ensure the vehicle remains in good, working condition even after undergoing these tests. So, if you drive a Honda and accidentally run into a curb, or hit a puddle going 70mph on the highway, and your car continues to run for tens of thousands of miles, you can thank the chassis reliability group of Honda R&D Americas.
