HLW first designed the highly fun and laid back East Coast headquarters of the internet mogul Google on 8th Avenue in New York. Shortly after, they hired HLW again to design an expansion across the street in the Chelsea Market, a historic economic and cultural center in New York. I helped on the project by creating graphic presentations for the design and through various space planning exercises. The client was great because of their desire to create a non traditional work environment that was fun to look at and fun to work in. It was also great to work in such an incredible site as the Chelsea Market.
