I worked in a flight test group at Boeing for the V-22 Osprey. The V-22 Osprey is an aircraft that takes off like a helicopter then rotates its "propellers" and flies like a plane. I ran flight simulations at my station. I was also able to fly the company flight simulator that is a mock-up of the cockpit! It had the real controls and displays that actual pilots used.
