Probably the most important aspect of a student's work quarter has to be the actual work that's involved. Whether it's redlines in AutoCadd or furniture and finish selections, I've learned that interesting projects make for an awesome co-op! At Hirsch Bedner & Associates Interior Design firm in Atlanta, GA I was given the opportunity to work on luxury hotels all over the world. The projects range from million-dollar resorts in the states to 7-star hotels in Dubai! In just 3 short months I worked on a hotel in Lima, Peru, an international tennis complex in Kuwait, a boutique hotel in Europe, and a Mandarin Oriental in Atlanta. This large scope of projects allowed for pie-in-the-sky design concepts and the most modern, luxurious material selections. This work experience had few limitations, and provided an incredible learning experience in the field of interior design.
