Super Bowl XLI

As a co-op at Infinite Scale in Salt Lake City, Utah, I played an integral role in developing a graphic system to accommodate hotels, airports, NFL Headquarters, Miami Beach Convention Center, Dolphin Stadium and other miscellaneous elements for Super Bowl XLI. Infinite Scale is a small firm, so a lot of responsibility was loaded onto my shoulders. I was heavily involved in design for various elements at the stadium, including: Field wall and upper level fascias, player tunnels, goal-post padding, team flags and banners outside the stadium and banners for the AFC and NFC locker rooms. The Miami Beach Convention Center was another area of great responsibility for me. Elements included were entrance fascias, interior and exterior column wraps and more. I think that anyone in an artistic field wants their work to be seen by millions of people. On Febraury 4, 2007, an estimated 93.2 million viewers watched the Super Bowl, currently the third most-watched program in television history. Watching from a couch on the west side of Cincinnati, I saw my designs splayed all over the screen for the entire day. There was rarely a moment where I couldn’t point to something that I had worked on. As soon as I turned on the television, a fence wrap design that I was personally responsible for was stretched behind Boomer Esiason and Dan Marino broadcasting from Dolphin Stadium. It was an absolute thrill for me. I loved going to work every day in Salt Lake. Everyone at Infinite Scale was great and I learned a lot from my experience there. It was a great feeling to be so trusted with all of this work.
