As an intern in Fashion Design, it is a dream for most students to get to actually design something while on coop. At Target Corporation - this dream came true. While interning at Target Corporation, I was assigned a project that allowed me to search the Big Girls Design Floor and come up with a design that I felt was missing from the store. I developed the core khaki that will be carried out through all seasons every year and will be placed on the floor Fall 2008. Also while on my coop, I attended all the design meetings, went on competitive shopping trips, and participated in team activities and trips that summer. Target Corporation treats its interns very well - providing amazing housing assistance, great pay, great projects, and fun activities and networking for interns outside of work. While on my coop, I found my dream job and loved every minute of my time there.
