1 Hangar, 80 Co-ops, 3 Private Jets

There are many perks to working at Procter and Gamble. These include free product (I have enough toilet paper, paper towels, toothpaste and floss to last a lifetime), free fun activities (Reds games, Kings Island, Dave & Buster's and Jillian’s), and the chance to win free V.I.P. tickets to various concerts. Yet, the coolest perk of all was getting to tour P&G’s fleet of private jets. Each jet is equipped with Rolls-Royce engines and has luxury designed leather seats, couches, tables, and bathrooms. One of the jets even has a full size bed and shower! 80 Co-ops/interns were selected to go Lunken Airport where we are allowed to tour the private jets. I got to sit in the cockpit of one the planes where I flipped some switches and turned on the GPS tracking system display in the cabin! I then relaxed in one of the comfy blue leather seats. As I sat there, I couldn’t help but to wonder whether CEO A.G. Lafley maybe sat in the same one! One lucky co-op even won the chance to fly on the jet and shadow an executive for a day. After touring the private jets and speaking with the pilots, we were treated to some free Montgomery Inn. Few full time employees (including my boss who has worked for P&G for 29 years!) have had the experience to see the jets. This exclusivity and fun is why Procter and Gamble has the best “Cool Perks”.
