DETAILS AND GUIDELINES

Eligibility:
-You must be enrolled as a UC student when you submit your entry.
-You must have co-oped at least once between January 1, 2006 and December 31, 2007.

Contest timeline:
-Submit your cool co-op anytime between July 1, 2007 and December 31, 2007.
(LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED).
-Online voting to determine the 100 winners will begin January 14, 2008 and will end on January 25, 2008.
-Winners will be notified and given information on the celebration event and how to pick up their prizes by February 8, 2008.
-Winning submissions will be announced to the world by February 29, 2008.

General Rules:
-Submit your entry anytime between July 1, 2007 and December 31, 2007.
-Enter as many times as you’d like, but only one prize per contestant will be awarded.
-All submissions will be approved by a committee before being posted to the contest site.
-Submissions become the property of the University of Cincinnati and may be used for promotion purposes beyond the contest.
-Voters including UC faculty and staff, co-op employers and members of the general public will determine the contest winners.

Submission Guidelines:
-Submissions must have a title.
-Submissions must be 300 words or less (this is about one paragraph) and must answer the question “Why is your co-op cool?”
-Use your best writing skills. The committee retains the right to edit entries for proper grammar and spelling.
-You must identify which category you are entering (Cool Projects, Cool People, Cool Places, Cool Perks).
-Each submission must include at least one photograph (at least 220 pixel width X 165 pixel height, a 4:3 aspect ratio, a resolution of at least 150 dpi, and less than 190 kilobytes in size) and must include a caption.
-Submissions must include identifying information so, if you win, we can contact you (all submission fields are required.)
