Offender Responsivity Module

Online courses offered by the UCCI are a great way for corrections practitioners to sharpen their skills. Each course is developed by a well-known correctional scholar and includes clear learning objectives, the latest research, interactive activities, reviews, and post-tests.

All course materials are accessed via the Internet on the University of Cincinnati Blackboard Learning System. Upon registration, access instructions are provided and students have 2 weeks to complete the course.

Courses are self-administered and require approximately 6 hours to complete. In comparison to the on-site workshops, they are shorter, and deliver only the instructional content. Tests and quizzes substitute for many of the group activities offered in the on-site workshops. During the course, questions can be submitted electronically via the Blackboard Learning System.
