Work Experience

I’ve worked in Customer Service for over fifteen years. Assisting people by communicating to better understand their needs is my top priority. I have been in the healthcare field for approximately four years and enjoy working in an area where customer service and care are so extremely important and appreciated.

As the Student Worker in the Counseling Center for the past two years, I do a little bit of everything. I enjoy using my organizational, communication, and analytical skills, as well as my creativity to assist our Records Management Officer and support our clinical staff. I submit information to be posted on our Facebook page as well as the shared UC Student Services twitter account.  In my first year at the Counseling Center, I updated the information on our website. It was a fun learning experience but I’m so happy we have our IT graduate assistant, who has been working diligently to make the site user-friendly and aesthetically pleasing. She makes it look so easy!

Other Activities/Interests

I am a special events volunteer at the Cincinnati Museum Center. Time permitting, I also volunteer at Matthew 25 Ministries and with various venues throughout the Cincinnati area. In my spare time I enjoy reading, photography, and playing board and card games with my niece and nephews.

Approach to Wellness

Wellness includes the mind, body, and spirit. It is important to take time to focus on each aspect of my life in order to take care of myself and my family. I maintain balance by furthering my education in and out of school, getting regular exercise by chasing my niece and nephews, and helping others by giving back to my community.
