Field Placement Links are in PDF format. To view these files, you'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader, a free download. Links will also open in a separate window. The Criminal Justice Field Placement is designed to allow
seniors in Criminal Justice the opportunity to expand upon their education
by gaining practical field experience prior to graduation. In order to
complete the requirements for a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice,
seniors must register for (2) field placement classes (495 & 496),
each of which require 72 hours of internship work with a chosen agency
and a (5) page paper that incorporates the student's internship experience
with knowledge gained throughout their classes in Criminal Justice. Students
should meet with the field placement coordinator in the academic quarter
prior to the quarter they wish to register for field placement in order
to secure placement at an agency. The following is a list of agencies where students have been placed: ON CAMPUS LOCAL POLICE DEPARTMENTS Washington DC Internships (through the Washington Center 700 Swift Hall) COURT AND LAW CORRECTIONS/REHABILITATION If you would like further information or have questions please contact: or Sue Bourke Undergraduate Director
