The University of Cincinnati, classified by the Carnegie Foundation as a university with “very high” research activity, has set the stage for fostering world-changing innovation, scholarship and entrepreneurship. In 2013, UC was named best “overall” university for economic engagement by the Association of Public and Land Grant Universities’ Commission on Innovation, Competitiveness and Economic Prosperity.
