Registering for Courses
Current students or students who registered for class in the past year are encouraged to register online through UC's OneStop Student Services web site at: www.onestop.uc.edu.
UC degree (matriculated) students register for distance learning classes following their respective college procedures.
Non-degree (non-matriculated) students taking their first class at UC or who have not registered in the past year for a UC class need to complete two forms and return both to the Office of the Registrar. Both forms, the Distance Learning Registration Form and Basic Data Form, are required to complete your registration for classes.
1. The Distance Learning Registration Form for non-degree seeking/non-matriculated students is used to reserve space in the classes of your choice. Print and complete a copy of this form.
2. Print, complete, sign and date the Basic Data Form.
3. Mail or fax the Basic Data form with your completed distance learning registration form to the Office of the Registrar (see address below) according to the calendar of registration dates. Please take careful note of dates and deadlines on the calendar. Students are advised to register before a class begins in order to avoid a late registration fee.
Office of the Registrar P.O. Box 210150 Cincinnati, OH 45221-0150 Fax: 513-556-5708
4. Forms may also be delivered in person to the One Stop Student Services Center, Second Floor of University Pavilion, and they will then be forwarded to the Office of the Registrar.
5. After your registration is processed, approximately one business day, your schedule will be available for printing and viewing online from the OneStop web site at www.onestop.uc.edu. Bills will also be available online. Bills will be assessed and due before the quarter begins, as noted in the quarterly dates and deadlines calendar.
Quarterly registration dates are available on the OneStop web site through the calendar.
If you are a non-degree seeking/non-matriculated student and need additional information about registration and billing, please e-mail the One Stop Student Services Center at: onestop@uc.edu or call: 513-556-1000.
Academic advising: Non-degree seeking/non-matriculated students can direct advising questions to the Transfer and Lifelong Learning Center via e-mail at: transfer@uc.edu or by calling 513-556-2247.
Degree seeking students should contact their respective colleges for program advisement. If you need direction to the appropriate college adviser, please call the Distance Learning office at 513-556-9154 or e-mail at ce@uc.edu.
