WHAT'S NEW!

The Diversity Council is pleased to announce its newest initiative to highlight diversity and inclusion throughout UC, our consortium of colleges and universities, and our greater community.  The Inaugural UC Diversity Conference will be held April 15, 2009.  The proposal submission period is now open and we are seeking dynamic and energetic individuals to join us as presenters for this event.  The conference is open to non-UC attendees and presenters.  Click here to download a PDF proposal.  Click here to download the proposal in MS Word.

For the AY 2008-2009, the CDO, in consultation with the Diversity Council has established student recruitment and retention with a focus on strengthening racial and ethnic diversity as the priority for investment through the RFP process.  Click here to download the overview and proposal.

DIVERSITY COUNCIL OPERATIONAL PROCEDURE

The Diversity Council is accessible to the campus community.  Minutes and activities of the Council are updated on a periodic basis to keep the community informed.  Concerns and/or issues to be presented to the Diversity Council should be submitted first to the leadership team for consideration.  They will collectively make a determination if the matter is appropriate for the Diversity Council or if it should be referred elsewhere.  Such matters should be submitted to Kathy Ogden at (513) 556-4119 or Kathy.Ogden@uc.edu.
