Volunteer for the Diversity Conference

The President’s Diversity Council is organizing the 7th Annual University of Cincinnati Diversity Conference on April 1, 2015. The theme this year is LEADER: Learn Educate Advocate Develop Empower Research.

As you know, the University of Cincinnati is focused on acknowledging the central role that diversity plays in defining our campus. In the same way that we are committed to excellence as a higher education community, we see inclusion as a part of what makes UC excellent. The Diversity Conference will bring together 500 individuals from across the University of Cincinnati system, and is an opportunity for networking, collaborating and building trusting relationships, and that you can return to your respective communities with a renewed sense of purpose, academics!

Each year, Conference volunteers are needed to help with Conference related tasks such as stuffing Conference bags, greeting attendees and helping with registration. Conference volunteers attend the Conference but also sign up for at least one volunteer shift.  We seek your collaboration in the success of this venture in showcasing the strength of volunteering, and we would appreciate your participation and help as we organize the logistics of the conference. In return for committing to work, volunteers receive complimentary registration and the opportunity to attend conference sessions and events when not on duty.  Volunteers receive all conference materials and all conference meals. Being a volunteer is a great opportunity for those who want to participate in the conference!

Please register at this link.  Registration deadline is March 6, 2015.

Get involved by donating some of your time during the conference as a volunteer!
