Creating the Curriculum Guide [Click here to register]

  • This 60-minute session will focus on the curriculum guide.  Note that it is necessary to have already completed the program form (P-1, M-1, or N-1) before working on a curriculum guide.
  • To work on a curriculum guide, you need the following:
    • A completed program form.
    • General knowledge and familiarity with the program,
    • Specific, comprehensive knowledge of the curricular requirements.
  • By the end of the session, you should know how to create a curriculum guide, including different options for publicly displaying requirements.  You should have a drafted or completed curriculum guide, with an understanding of how to return and submit work for approval.  You will see and understand how a finished curriculum guide appears on public websites.

Creating the Program Outline [Click here to register]

  • This 90-minute session will center on the Program Outline. Note that it is necessary to have already completed the program form (P-1, M-1, or N-1) before working on a program outline.
  • To work on a program outline, you will need the following:
    • General knowledge and familiarity with the program.
    • Comfortability with composing text describing the program to the public.
    • Knowledge of your College's business practices and standards for the program outline.
  • By the end of the session, you should have a drafted or completed program outline.  You should understand how to return to the program outline and complete one.  You will see and understand how a finished program outline appears on public websites.
