The Center for Research and Policy in Education supports faculty, graduate students, and practitioner research into questions surrounding initial and advanced teacher education, the effectiveness of particular educational practices, and issues of urban education. The purpose of the Center furthers the University mission of assisting faculty in conducting research, especially research that solves problems and is applicable to education. Such research and scholarship will have an impact on the quality of student learning at the university and on the quality of community service provided by the university.
