Please Remember:

  • Students must write the essay either online or on campus.
  • Students are permitted to write the essay only once.
  • Once students have accessed the reading for the online essay, they are expected to complete the essay. If for some reason students do not complete the online essay, they should contact the email helpline. The system will not allow students to register for another online essay, but, under certain circumstances, we can override this.
  • While we want you to produce your best work, we do not expect students to devote the full time to this task. Students are given several days so that they can work at their own pace and according to their own schedule.
  • Do not wait until the last minute to start the online essay. This is not a timed writing. Treat it as you would a writing assignment for a class.
