Every Year the Office of Ethnic Programs and Services host the Hispanic Student Welcome!

This event serves to welcome all of our students especially our incoming and returning Hispanic and Latino students. At the welcome, students have an opportunity to network with other students and University personell in an atmosphere full of culture and fun!

Asian Student Welcome

Just like the Hispanic Student Welcome, the Asian student Welcome is hosted every year by the Office of Ethnic Programs and Services!

This event serves to welcome all of our students especially our incoming and returning Asian students. At the welcome, students have an opportunity to network with other students and University personell in an atmosphere full of culture and fun!

Hispanic Heritage Month runs this year from September 11, 2016 through October 27, 2016! Join us for exciting programing- you'll be sure to meet new people and eat great food!

NAHM

Native American Heritage Month (Fall) 

Native American Heritage Month, also sometimes known as American Indian Heritage Month, occurs each year in November. The month serves as a time to celebrate the rich culture, traditions, history, and stories of Indigenous and Native individuals. 

The Office of Ethnic Programs and Services is proud to host a variety of educational and social events and programs throughout the month of November to celebrate Native American Heritage Month. 

Lunar New Year

Lunar New Year Celebration (Spring)

Lunar New Year refers to the beginning of the year in several calendars. It is based on a lunar calendar or lunisolar calendar. These New Year celebrations based on the Chinese lunisolar calendar sometimes fall on or near the same day of the Gregorian year: Chinese New Year, Japanese New Year, Korean New Year, Mongolian New Year, Tibetan New Year and Vietnamese New Year.

Every year our office celebrates Lunar with an event full of entertainment, food and fun!

World Fest International Fashion Show

World Fest (Spring)

Every year the University of Cincinnati embarks on a campus wide celebration of culture and heritage. As a part of the opening ceremonies for World Fest Week, The Office of Ethnic Programs and Services produces the annual World Fest International Fashion Show! Students from all over campus display their cultural heritage by serving as models and volunteers for this awesome production.

This year the celebrations will run early March 2016. Be sure to check our website around that time for specific program details- you don't want to miss it!
