The University of Cincinnati Environmental
Training Institute is a
"Specialized Training Center" of
the US EPA Air Pollution Training Institute (APTI) and operates
under a grant from the Education and Outreach Group (EOG) of the US
EPA Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards. ETI conducts APTI
short courses on topics related to environmental engineering and
compliance and focuses on enabling environmental personnel and
others affected by Federal regulations to become knowledgeable in
the fundamentals of air pollution control and air quality management
in a timely and cost effective manner. Certification Maintenance
(CM) points have been awarded to all of these short courses by the
American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) for continuing education
of Certified Industrial Hygienists (CIH's). UC ETI is also a
downlink site for the
Air Pollution Distance Learning Network (APDLN)
operated by the US EPA APTI.
