Stratford Heights

The lodge d├ęcor of this multipurpose space creates a leisurely atmosphere for small to medium size group meetings, workshops and banquets. Located in a residence facility off campus, extra care is taken to ensure your event set up, catering, and AV needs are met.


  • Banquet room, patio and piano room serve as a single event space, located on the second floor of the Stratford Heights community building. Access after 5pm into the building is limited to swipe access, so pre-arrangements must be made for evening events.
  • The piano space is reserved as is and has a capacity of 92 standing. Furniture arrangement is As-Is.
  • The patio is considered part of the banquet room.
  • The banquet room has four standard pre-sets:
    • Lecture Style: Max Cap. 96 people
    • Round Tables: Max Cap. 72 people at 9 rounds
    • Classroom Style: Max. Cap. 60 people
    • U-shaped Conference Style: Max Cap. 26 people at 13 tables


  • Classic Fare Catering is the exclusive caterer for all food and beverage needs.
  • Projector, screen, laptop, and microphone can be reserved. Because AV is not integrated into the room, a staffing fee is charged to complete the set up and tear down for all AV requests.
  • Requests must be made in writing no later than 15 business days prior to event for staffing to be secured.  


  • Students may use this space without a catering order.
  • Alcohol cannot be served in this space given that it is on residence hall property.
  • Events sponsored by university and external groups must order catering to use the space.
  • Use of the outdoor grill is available upon request through Classic Fare Catering.
