President’s Excellence Awards

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
Exemplary contributions that meet the goals of UC|21

CRITERIA FOR NOMINATION:
These awards will be presented to faculty that have demonstrated significant achievement in advancing the goals of UC|21. The number of awards presented each year may vary depending on the strength of the nomination pool. All faculty members, full- and part-time, are eligible to receive an award.

Faculty members will be considered for contributions in one of more of the following areas:

• Place Students at the Center
• Grow Research Excellence
• Achieve Academic Excellence
• Forge Relationships and Partnerships
• Establish Sense of Place
• Create Opportunity

NOMINATION PROCEDURE:
Nominations may be made by any faculty member or administrator associated with the University of Cincinnati. The nomination should include a one-page narrative detailing the faculty member’s contributions to the goals of UC|21. No more than two letters of support should accompany the one-page narrative. Nominations must carry the endorsement of the college dean in the form of a brief note or letter.

Nominations must be submitted by 5:00, February 1, 2008 to the President’s Office. They can be sent to ML 0063; delivered to room 625, University Pavilion; or emailed to president@uc.edu.
